Talk to an expertThe Halliburton Otis® Equalizing Prong and Valve Assemblies are used with a Halliburton Otis® lock mandrel. The plug is designed to hold a pressure differential from above or below the lock when considerable amounts of sand or other debris is expected above the lock.
Equalizing Valve
The Halliburton Equalizing Valve Assembly is installed between a Halliburton Otis® Lock Mandrel and a subsurface flow control device. It allows fluid bypass and equalization of a pressure differential across the control device when running and pulling.
Equalizing Prong
The equalizing prong housing with lock and prong assembly is installed/retrieved by standard wireline methods.

Halliburton subsurface flow control systems are designed to simplify completion programs and help maintain production control for the life of the well. Every lock mandrel can be functionally tested by installing into a nipple profile.
